Our school is located in the heart of a military community in North Carolina. Many students come from military families, but many students come from low-income families as well. We work hard to create a positive and nurturing community for the students at our school.
My Project
Creating an environment that is positive and inviting to help students grow is important. It’s hard for little learners to sit too long in a desk and chair. My goal is to give them choice over where they want to work. It will also give them to chance to move around or be more comfortable while learning. They get to have a choice in their learning environment too. Students can use the floor seats and cushions to work on stations or reading. For many of these students, it will be their first school experience. Please help us create a positive and comfortable environment for them to learn in!
