My students need a flexible seating option that allows students to be comfortable and able to collaborate while working.
This flex-space collaborative floor work table and chairs will be a great addition to our classroom.
My students come to school everyday full of excitement! They are thrilled to be with their friends. They learn by interacting with their peers, problem-solving, and sharing. I would like my classroom to reflect the kind of learners I teach. My first graders need to move, stand, wiggle, and collaborate! A flexible-seating classroom will foster this type of learning environment. I work in a rural community at a Title I school with 79% of students receiving free or reduced lunch. There is a great deal of pride at our school, and our school staff is always learning new strategies and techniques to increase student achievement. My hope is that student engagement will be increased in a flexible-seating learning environment. I know that my students will be very excited to see new seating options and have more opportunities to collaborate and move!
The floor table and flex-space comfy floor seats are a flexible seating option that allows students to be comfortable and move while working. I want my students to be engaged in learning, and this new flexible seating will be an exciting option in my classroom! This flex-space floor bundle from Lakeshore Learning will create a cozy and comfortable place for learning. Flexible seating allows students to have a choice about where they learn best.
Flexible seating has been linked to improved behavior, better health and increased academic performance.
These seating options will allow my first graders to move around the room and collaborate with their peers. The flex-space comfy seats and floor table bundle will be an exciting addition to my first grade classroom!
