My Students

My students are lively and curious about many different things. The are located in a rural school with a small student population, so they are able to have one-on-one time with me.

They enjoy a relationship with me and each other that is much more relaxed then in many other schools.

I want to give them the ability to learn in a way that makes it much more relaxed and enjoyable to learn by providing them with more flexible seating options in the classroom.

My Project

These two butterfly chairs and set of tables will be a great addition to my room which will be going towards flexible seating this year. I want a place where students could sit back and read or write papers in comfort to be able to work better. Many times students are more likely to work better if they have some choice of were they sit.

By providing them the freedom of choice in seating, I can allow my students the opportunity to feel more at home in their classroom and make it a place where they want to learn and participate.

Doing this will change my classroom in more ways than I can imagine.
