My Project
Please help me transform our high school classroom into a comfortable and collaborative workspace. Everyone knows that children need to move but we seem to forget that high school students are still growing children! Flexible seating allows them to wobble, rock, bounce, lean, or stand, which increases blood flow, oxygen flow to the brain, and helps to build core strength.
Flexible seating options provide sensory stimulation which can help children focus and process information.
Sensory input is especially helpful for students with ADD, ADHA, and ASD. It also helps keep young minds more alert and focused. Plus, flexible seating is just more fun than traditional chairs.
