This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My Fifth Grade students have to work in groups often. They some times have to do research projects and have to learn to cooperate and share parts of the project so that everyone is involved. They also work on class assignments together. During these activities, students enjoy flexible seating opportunities.

They will work together in groups at their tables, on the floor or any available area in the classroom.

These seats will allow students to sit comfortably on the floor. It will also be helpful to have sets of markers for their illustrations and projects.
