This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come to school each day with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn. The students in my classroom have a wide range of physical and academic needs and require special supports to access the curriculum and be successful. One of these supports is flexible seating to meet their physical and sensory needs.
Having access to flexible seating options will support students in staying focused and growing academically.
When students have a range of seating options, they can try different choices to determine which type of seating option best supports their needs. This helps students develop agency and knowledge of themselves.
