We have an amazing group of students joining us in 3rd grade this coming school year. They have a variety of learning styles and needs. My co-teacher and I are planning to give them a warm, inviting, and engaging learning community.
These stools are the perfect for for our small group tables.
Flexible seating provides each student an opportunity to move around within our small classroom. These type of seats allow the students to be active, the blood flowing in their extremities, all while remaining focused on the work at hand.
When not needed for small group instruction, any student can also use these stools as flexible seating. Movement in the room is good for their bodies and minds. We do not want them sitting rigid at their desks all day. That is not a collaborative or productive way for them to learn. Having flexible seating available would benefit each child inside our classroom.
