Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The Flex-Space Ergo Bounce Cantilever Chairs will provide my students with comfortable, flexible seating that allows for natural movement, improving focus and engagement. Traditional chairs can be restrictive and uncomfortable, making it harder for students to stay attentive throughout the day. These ergonomic chairs promote good posture, reduce restlessness, and create a more dynamic learning environment where students can concentrate and participate more effectively.
My goal is to create a classroom environment that supports active learning by providing seating that adapts to my students' needs.
With these chairs, I aim to improve student focus, encourage collaboration, and foster a sense of ownership over their learning space. By reducing distractions caused by discomfort and restlessness, I hope to enhance student engagement, participation, and overall academic success.
My students are curious, hardworking, and eager to learn, but they each have unique needs when it comes to how they focus best. Some thrive when they can move slightly while working, while others need an alternative to rigid, traditional seating to stay comfortable. They come from diverse backgrounds and bring different strengths to the classroom, and I want to ensure they all have the tools they need to succeed. Providing them with flexible seating options acknowledges their individuality and empowers them to take charge of their learning experience.
