This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are motivated and hard workers. They are a sweet and caring group of students who benefit from individualized support to continue to learn and grow. They are always ready to learn and bring joy to our small group sessions.
My Project
Seating for table top activities can sometimes be a drag… who wants to sit for up to 30 minutes when your body can be up and moving?
Flexible seating bands will help support my students’ attention and focus while remaining seated.
They will be able to not only maintain good seating posture, but be able to get some of their wiggles out without losing focus.
My students range from K-6th grade and those in the lower grades often sit with their feet dangling which is uncomfortable and distracting for them.
Chair bands will help support in grounding their bodies!
