Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students currently sit in chairs that are hard and offer no opportunities to move. I want to give them choices in seating that allow them chances to move. Chair bands give their legs space to move with minimal distractions. Air filled seating allows them to bounce and move as they learn. Each item I am requesting is an opportunity for my students to get energy out while they focus.

Movement helps focus.

These resources will help some of my more challenging students get energy out and learn while doing so.
