Elementary school years are the building blocks that are essential to developing the future leaders of America. These building blocks were disrupted by a school year of distance learning. Distance learning forced each individual child into a specific, one-size fits all style of learning. However, each of our future leaders have unique needs in the classroom. With the option to create a flexible learning environment, I can ensure students will be able to feel comfortable, safe, and focused.
Flexible seating allows students to become self-aware and take charge of their learning environment.
Student motivation and engagement is enhanced when students feel welcome and cared for. Each student is an individual who can't be expected to fit a cookie-cutter mold. Flexible seating can offer a different type of differentiation, or the means to meet each student's unique needs. The opportunity to sit or stand at their desks will still remain! However, if students want to comfortably sit on the floor, or need extra movement to maintain focus, these wobble cushions and stools allow that. Please help make this engaging learning environment a reality!
