My Students
My students are amazing Kindergarteners at a Title I, public school. They show up ready to learn each day and are eager to participate in all that we do.
I hope to fulfill their eagerness to learn by providing them with better flexible seating opportunities.
Flexible seating can help students focus better and give them the opportunity to choose what is most comfortable for them.
I would also like to help them become better organized in the classroom. This is an important habit to instill in their school environment as it helps them become better organized at home.
My Project
The materials I am hoping to fund will make a huge difference in the atmosphere and comfort of our classroom.
Students who have flexible seating opportunities are able to learn in a way that is comfortable for them.
This allows students to independently choose what works best for them while they are learning.
They will also be able to better organize our materials, allowing them to access supplies, manipulatives, games, etc. independently. Doing so allows students to take pride in their space and helps reinforce that it is their classroom!
