I have many hopes for this upcoming school year. One is that my students will have a comfortable place to read and explore books. Another is that they will continue to develop their skills and knowledge in mathematics. These materials will be used to help them achieve both of these goals. I hope my students will be passionate about both reading and mathematics as they develop as learners. A comfortable classroom library with designated bins for specific books and cozy areas allows students to feel comfortable while learning to read. Math materials are an essential part of mathematics instruction and allow students to problem solve in many ways. These materials will provide them with different strategies while they continue to develop as mathematicians.
