My Students
You were made to be AWESOME! - Kid President Awesome is the theme of our classroom. We strive to be awesome in our academic and social lives!
I teach a group of awesome 4th graders at a Title I school in New Haven where 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.
My students spend their days learning 4th grade skills with a 21st century twist. They work hard preparing for their future and becoming life long learners. Many of them struggle with reading and math and are reading below grade level.
My Project
If you ask my students they will tell you they learn better when they are moving. I allow my students to work where they are comfortable, but sometimes I need them sitting at a table for small group instruction. I have purchased basic stools which allow some movement, but the wiggling has caused them to break. Wobble stools have a rounded base which allows students to safely wiggle while working.
Kore Wobble stools at our small group table will allow students to remain focused on the lessons that have the most impact!
Fidgeting helps children concentrate, and just a little movement can meet their demands for expelling excess energy. I know these stools will help transform my classroom into the best learning environment for all!
