it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
"If they can't learn the way we teach, we teach the way they learn."
My students are a group of students on the Autism spectrum.
Among those students I have a variety of learners, with various interests and preferences on how they like to learn.
My goal for every student is to feel at home in school and limit distractions through comfortable and flexible seating. I am continuously looking for new ways for my students to be successful. I believe that flexible seating will help me achieve a higher rate of success! Flexible seating would allow my students to learn in the most comfortable setting.
We currently have heavy metal chairs that may not the best options for students with such intricate minds and learning styles. At times, the sound of a chair sliding or the feeling of a cool chair distracts my students from their learning. My goal is for my students to be able to have more options for seating during a read aloud, group work and independent work!
The Flex-Space Collaborative Floor Work Space bundle will help my students be successful with their flexible learning styles. We work in a variety of ways in the classroom such as whole group, partnerships, and independently. I want to ensure that my students on the Autism spectrum are comfortable when completing tasks or discussing concepts with peers.
Children with flexible learning styles should be able to learn in a flexible classroom!
