Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Flexible seating has increased engagement and directly impacts their learning outcomes, as they are more motivated to actively participate in lessons and discussions.
My students thrive in an environment where they have the opportunity to choose their seating, which is why implementing flexible seating options in our classroom is crucial.
Not only does this empower them to make decisions about their learning space, but it also enhances their comfort and focus.
To further support their learning, providing each student with a clipboard will facilitate their writing tasks, ensuring they have a stable surface to work on, whether they're at a traditional desk or utilizing a flexible seating option.
My students are truly special. They are funny, caring, competitive, and love to learn. Particularly learning through collaboration. They deeply value whole-class learning and have a strong sense of teamwork, supporting and encouraging one another to achieve their goals. This sense of camaraderie creates a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and motivated to succeed.
