Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My Students:
I teach an amazing group of energetic and curious third graders who thrive when they have choices in their learning environment.
They love being able to move around, collaborate with classmates, and select a workspace that helps them focus and do their best work. Having flexible seating options will create a more engaging and student-centered classroom where they can feel comfortable and excited to learn every day!
My Project:
I am requesting activity tables to provide students with more seating choices throughout the day. Third graders love having options when it comes to where they sit and work—whether it's for partner work, small group instruction, puzzle centers, or hands-on activities. These tables will allow me to create a flexible classroom setup where students can choose their workspaces based on the task and what helps them learn best.
Having high-quality, inviting furniture will make our classroom feel like a welcoming and engaging place where students want to learn.
The Impact:
With these tables, students will have the freedom to move, collaborate, and take ownership of their learning. Whether they’re solving math puzzles, playing literacy games, or engaging in small group discussions, these tables will provide the perfect setting for meaningful learning experiences.
