We don't have the resources we need to integrate STEM in my classroom or at home. These materials will allow me to be able to integrate these four subjects together. With these materials, I can empower my students by being able to help them make! The lightbulbs, copper tape, and batteries the students can make flashlights, learn about circuits, and add lights to their creations. These kits are designed for younger aged kids to incorporate STEM into fairy tales. Fairy tales make up one of the units of study in our ELA curriculum! The STEM kits will enable students to use critical thinking skills and creativity to imagine alternate endings to beloved fairy tales where the victim becomes the hero! I know that the students will love to read about the fairy tales and imagine new ways to come up with alternate endings to these beloved stories.
