My Students

The end to this school year has been heartbreaking for my students and me. We didn’t even get to finish our Special Olympics basketball tournament or wrap up our class coffee and tea delivery service for the year. I am privileged to work with a really awesome group of middle schoolers with autism and/or intellectual disabilities, and it’s going to take a team effort to get our group on track and back in a routine come fall. Please consider donating to help some super smart kids!

My Project

I teach a VERY energetic group of students! Traditional seating isn’t always effective for my students, so I am hoping to get funding for flexible seating for part of my group. I teach students with autism, Down Syndrome, genetic disorders, and ADHD— and we move and groove all day! We work hard on learning to pay attention and increase our time on task, and these materials will help us reach our goals. Please consider digging deep to help us supply our amazing little group of students! We would be forever grateful.
