This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have been enjoying learning each day and are very supportive of many of us who learn from different areas of the room. The majority of our instruction and lessons take place at the carpet. If you can imagine - that is a VERY long time for 6-8 year olds to sit. Sitting on chairs can only help students stay focused for so long.

With flexible seating, students are able to increase their oxygen and blood flow in our bodies and brains.

Students need to stay moving in order to keep learning for various amounts of times.

With your help - I would like to provide various types of seating for both whole group times and independent work times. These supplies include stools, clipboards, wooble chairs.
