My Students

Flexible Seating is extremely important because...My teacher space is less; I spend my time in the room working with students. The room has become “ours” instead of “mine,” and this has given my students a sense of ownership and enabled them to become invested in their own education.

The students in my class are caring, hardworking, and eager to learn.

Our classroom is filled with lots of learning and fun activities. I want to provide my students with the best possible learning environment, experiences, and materials. I am so grateful for all the support of our families and friends. Thank you for helping to provide the students with the tools for the better educational experience!

My Project

My students need flexible seating to help them work to their best ability.

The scoop chairs allow students to read and rock at the same time.

These chairs will allow my students to expand their reading stamina and persevere in writing.

Flexible Seating is extremely important because my teacher space is less; I spend my time in the room working with students. The room has become “ours” instead of “mine,” and this has given my students a sense of ownership and enabled them to become invested in their own education.

There are enough options for everyone, and they take their comfortable seats wherever they go. I have come to realize that not everyone can learn sitting up in a chair. The stools allow students to read and write anywhere they feel comfortable.

I have witnessed a change in their commitment to learning and behavior. Being comfortable somehow allows the student to stay vested in the task, and their behavior is equally positive. They are willing to work with others, share ideas and move around the room.
