Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Although my library was built fairly recently, there is only one option for students to sit-the bench built in our Story Corner. Scoop Rockers and cushions will give students a more comfortable place to sit and enjoy books.

My students have different sensory needs, especially my students with special education needs.

Flexible seating gives them options to be comfortable and able to focus, whether it is on a story that I am reading to them, or reading on their own.

My students love to be read aloud to and read to each other. Chairs are essential for incentivizing students to read, and cushions will allow students to sit in a position that makes them feel at ease.
