Our 6th and 7th grade students are creative and hard working. They come from a hard-working and active community. In the Humanities team, we do a lot of research and hands-on learning. One of our focuses is teaching students how to use technology effectively in our classrooms.
We strive to work together to create learning opportunities for all.
This looks like individual work, small group projects, and full class activities, such as read aloud circles with Ms. Faulkner and mock elections with Ms. Chamberlin.
Ms. Faulkner and Ms. Chamberlin would like to create different stations in their rooms. They would each like one corner of their rooms to be a reading and research station. Since this is an important part of their education, they deserve the resources to help them learn the content and build new skills.
These adjustable floor chairs would allow students to have access to flexible seating in each Humanities classroom.
Since the chairs have different settings they can be used for a variety of tasks from silent reading, writing letters, discovering new information, and group circle discussions. Flexible seating has been proven to help students with learning by creating an authentic work environment that helps them focus.
