My students need couch to help create flexible seating in my classroom. A couch will help with close small group activities. It will allow them to work closer with each other in a comfortable environment.

My Students

I teach a group of extraordinary students who range from grades 6th to 8th. I teach a mild/mod special day class that teaches an arrangement of students with special needs from autism to special learning disabilities. My students come to my classroom to learn Math, Science, Language Arts and History.

Even though I am the teacher, I feel like I am the one learning from them every day.

These human beings are some of the most amazing and caring group of people I know. I am truly blessed to be able to come in and teach this awesome group of kids every day.

My Project

My students require a couch to help create flexible seating in my classroom. Creating flexible seating in my room will help foster a more comfortable and inviting environment for my students. They all learn in different ways and allowing them to learn in a comfortable environment in comparison to learning in a desk and chair opens up new opportunities for them.

Flexible seating allows my students different choices in the way they feel most comfortable to learn.

It helps foster an environment where they can be calm and comfortable while being stimulated and involved in what is going on in the classroom.
