My Project
What makes my school unique is that it is a high needs, bilingual elementary school. 60% of my students receive free or reduced lunch, half are English language learners, and all are enthusiastic about learning.
I seek to create a classroom environment that is comfortable and appealing to students in order to help them focus on learning and collaborate with each other. Kids love having a variety of seating options available. My students already have options to stand and sit at regular sized tables. But with the addition of floor seating, they will have another option to help them focus on what is most important- learning.
