This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project is extremely important to my students and me. These materials will be used in our classroom daily during our whole group, small groups, in our calm down area, sensory center and even during outdoor play. This project will make a huge difference because it will allow my students to wobble, rock, bounce, lean or stand, which increases oxygen flow to the brain, blood flow and helps strengthen their core as they learn. These materials will also allow my students to have the sensory stimulation desired while completing educational tasks with soft seats, bean bags, or wobble cushions.
