My Project
Despite the challenges that students face, they are unbelievable and remarkable. Their resiliency, love for learning, and eagerness are inspiring. I want to create a library community that is welcoming and inviting that fosters team building through collaboration. At the same time, helping students learn and grow to become independent, college and career ready, as well as productive citizens.
I am requesting a low circular table and soft seats so students can sit on the floor around the table.
I notice that students love sitting on the rug, however, the school library currently doesn’t provide a structure that accommodates flexible seating. Flexible seating would give students the option to control the physical environments in which they work best. Flexible seating also opens the space for increased collaboration among students.
