My Students

I'm Mrs. DeCarbo and I teach fourth grade. My days are spent teaching math and social studies. The students really enjoy these subjects, and I am always looking for ways to make things a little more fun.

My students love learning.

They come from a variety of backgrounds and all have something special and unique to contribute to our class. I am hoping to make their days a little more comfy and help keep them focused and on task so we can maximize our time together.

My Project

Flexible seating has tremendous benefits for multiple learners. I was fortunate enough to have a project funded that allowed me to introduce flexible seating into my classroom. The kids absolutely love it!

More seating will result in more opportunities for students to benefit.

With a limited number of resources, lots of choices have to be made and not everyone gets to utilize what they were hoping for. I'm looking to add a few extra things that have been the top picks to provide opportunities for more of my students to be able to utilize flexible seating in my classroom.

The kids are thrilled with what we have, and so am I! I am so excited to continue to build upon what we have and create a fun and exciting space for learning!
