Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are those on the autism spectrum. Each of my students have their own individual needs in order to grow to be successful and independent learners. What I love about my students is they are always willing to try their very best and are motivated to please others. They love to be praised and make others happy! Each student is unique with a personality that brightens up the classroom. I look forward to every school year to meet new students!
My Project
These seats will motivate my students and give them opportunity of choice. This will support my students needs by keeping their attention and focus while transitioning from center to center throughout the day. Flexible seating will support my students individual needs as well as keep them interested. Changing the classroom environment makes it fun and engaging for all students. I think this project will be a great way of demonstrating that changing a students environment can really spark a new love for learning. The students will be excited to see that learning can happen while having fun and not just sitting in chairs.
