Help me give my students wobble chairs and flexible floor seats so each student has the opportunity to excel in their own least restrictive environment in my classroom.

My Students
My kindergarten class is made up of a diverse group of four and five-year olds attending a public Title I school in Richmond, VA. Due to COVID-19 and socio-economic barriers that disproportionately impact the Black community, many of my students did not attend preschool and are just now beginning their in-person school experience.
The bright young minds that fill my classroom deserve a learning environment that will inspire, empower, and engage each of them.
Our school's vision is to create a neighborhood school highly regarded by the community, where our learners thrive academically, socially, and emotionally in a supportive and cohesive community, and I am determined to ensure that my classroom has the resources and supplies needed to achieve this.
My Project
Even in a general education classroom, every student needs something different for it to truly be their least restrictive environment. I do not want my students' learning to be limited by a lack of seating options when working in small groups or independently. Flexible seating is a way I hope to meet the individual needs of each of my kindergarteners.
Four and five-year-olds deserve the ability to release energy in a way that does not impede their learning.
With your support, my students will be able to opt to sit in a wobble chair or flexible floor seat when working in small group centers or independently. This will give them a safe and healthy way to self-regulate their bodies to help them focus, learn, and thrive in my classroom.
