Flexible Seating for a Very Demure, Mindful and Peaceful Classroom

My Project

This school year, the special education team got moved to a bigger classroom that allows us to have more space for students. A space that I would like to further develop in our new classroom is our calm area.

A calm area is an essential part of a classroom because it provides a specific space and tools for students to take a break and regulate emotions.

The bean bag chairs are comfy and can help support students to relax. The wobble stools will be used at my teaching table and can help students sit upright and engaged while learning.
