Flexible Seating for a Dynamic, Safe and Inspiring Learning Environment
Help me give my students flexible seating, inspiring decor, and essential cleaning supplies. Creating a safe and engaging learning environment will foster confidence, creativity, and academic success for low-income and newcomer students in the Spanish Heritage Classroom.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Join us on an adventure to transform our classroom into an exciting and inviting learning oasis! With your incredible support, we're gearing up to change our space with flexible seating, decor (carpet and lamp), and essential cleaning supplies.
Picture this: students bouncing with excitement as they choose their favorite seating spot, whether it's a cozy bean bag or a standing desk.
Flexible seating is beneficial for students to find positions in which they feel comfortable to produce their best work, and I believe that a standing desks and bean bags would provide students with another way to optimize their learning.
We're also rolling out the red carpet for cleanliness and hygiene. Hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes will save the day vanquishing germs and keeping our surfaces sparkling.
And let's not forget about tissues – the unsung heroes of good respiratory hygiene! With your help, we'll ensure every sneeze and sniffle is met with a soft, comforting tissue and proper disposal.
