My Project

In our Modern Classroom, students are able to self-pace within each unit using a blend of technology and classroom resources. Students work independently or with a partner to engage with lessons and practice activities. Meanwhile, I am able to pull small groups of students for more targeted instruction that allows me to meet the needs of each student.

With your help, I will be able to give my students a variety of seating options configured to optimize their small group work, partner work, and independent work.

Traditional classroom furniture, including tables, desks, and hard plastic chairs, is designed for traditional lectures and seat work. Our classroom is in need of versatile furniture that is better suited to a modern classroom full of diverse learners.

My students are in their final year of elementary school and preparing for middle school. They are increasing their ability to work independently and developing their sense of responsibility for their own learning. Your donation will help me transform the physical environment of our classroom to help foster this sense of independence and responsibility. Thank you!
