This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 4th graders are avid readers. Unfortunately, we currently only have a 4x6 rug in our classroom library and that doesn't provide nearly enough space for my students to spread out comfortably during small group reading time.
These flexible seating options will allow me to create another space for them that they can place around the room and create flexible, portable, and comfortable space to read for more students.
I love the fact that my students love to read and I want to foster that love by providing comfortable spaces!
