This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I’m excited to share a special project with you that will greatly benefit my fourth-grade students. We’re looking to add some flexible floor seating options to our classroom, like floor recliners and floor pads. These will give our kids comfy spots to sit and work on the floor or gather for small group lessons on the rug.

Flexible seating is a game-changer for students.

It lets them choose where and how they learn best, which boosts their focus and engagement. With floor recliners, they can relax while studying, and the floor pads provide a cozy space for teamwork and discussions.

My goal is simple: to create a classroom where every student feels supported and ready to learn. By adding these flexible seating options, we can accommodate different learning styles and make sure everyone feels comfortable and included.

What makes my students special is their diversity and resilience. They come from all walks of life and bring unique talents and perspectives to our classroom. With your help, we can create a space where every child can thrive.
