Students thrive when they are given choices about where they can work in the classroom. These stadium seats will allow students to make independent choices about where they would like to work or read throughout our classroom. Students can pair these seats with a lap desk to complete written work, or they can recline with their book or laptop. In our classroom, the classroom library is the focus. Students love to use their book bins to select books from our classroom library for independent choice time. When work is completed, students may choose from a variety of choice activities to engage in student read literacy work - they write book reviews, choose writing prompts, practice cursive, complete online enrichment choices, or read a self-selected book. These seats will be an important part of empowering students to make their own choices for their best learning environment.
