My students need stability balls to help them focus. Research shows that kids, especially those with ADHD and ADD do much better when they can fidget a little. The movement actually helps them think.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Nagy Olguin's classroom raised $699

My Students
Our students come from a very diverse ethnic socio-economic background. As a Title I school, we embrace our diversity as we strive to prepare our students to be citizens capable of engaging the new and technological world. We are a small school where almost everyone know each other by first name. Our students love being challenged and are excited to learn new things.
All students learn differently, so I want to help my students have a classroom that will help them reach their full potential.
Our staff and teachers work diligently to plant the seeds of possibility and build confidence through the Falcon Motto. Falcons fly high because the sky is not the limit. Anything is possible if you try hard enough and believe in yourself. Think your best. Live your best. Do your best TODAY!
My Project
Research shows that flexible seating is conducive to critical thinking, that is why corporations, such as Google, have a work space that is very relaxed and inviting. I want my students to feel valued and heard.
I want them to have a voice in the classroom, instead of sitting in rows staring at me all day long.
By requesting balance balls, I am starting the move from my classroom being more conventional to one that is more flexible. I see all my students with their amazing gifts, and I want them to feel they are in a place where they can think freely and critically.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
