My Project

Wiggle chairs offer several benefits for our students with disabilities. Wiggle chairs provide a dynamic seating experience, allowing students to shift, rock, and wiggle comfortably. For students who struggle with sitting still for extended periods, these chairs offer a solution. By allowing controlled movement, wiggle chairs promote better focus and attention during lessons.

Many of our students face sensory processing challenges and these chairs provide sensory regulation and comfort.

The gentle rocking motion of wiggle chairs provides proprioceptive input, helping them regulate their sensory systems. Additionally, the ergonomic design ensures comfort, reducing physical discomfort and distractions.

Beyond functionality, wiggle chairs encourage social interaction. Students can chat with peers while wiggling, fostering connections and friendships. Inclusion lies at the heart of our mission, and these chairs promote a sense of belonging.

We want every student, regardless of ability, to have access to comfortable and supportive seating. Wiggle chairs will be available in all classrooms, resource rooms, and common areas.

By providing an alternative seating option that aligns with their sensory needs, we aim to increase student engagement. Engaged students are more likely to succeed academically and socially.
