This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I genuinely admire my students' incredible spirit of perseverance and their individual ways of understanding the world. Each one brings a fresh viewpoint and a desire to learn, whether they are tackling a tough concept in English or navigating daily life in special education. Their unique strengths and eagerness to help each other truly inspire me.

The stack chairs, drafting chair and write-and-wipe-trapezoid tables will create a soothing, welcoming space, for students who learn best in a relaxed setting that fosters a sense of community and teamwork.

The tables with their flexible design, will allow students to choose the seating arrangement that suits their learning style on any given day. This choice is vital because it gives students a feeling of control over their learning environment. For some, being able to stand or work on the drafting chair at a higher desk helps release extra energy and improves focus.

For others, a more traditional chair setup might be preferred for focused individual work.

With flexibility, students can easily move from working independently on an assignment to joining a small group for a collaborative activity. They can shift positions as needed to manage their sensory input, ensuring they remain engaged and ready to learn.
