My Project
In my classroom, we love to read! Floor pillows, bean bags, and chair bands offer a variety of seating options that can be beneficial for fidgety children in the classroom. These alternatives to traditional chairs provide comfort, flexibility, and sensory input, which can help children focus and learn.
Floor pillows and bean bags allow for movement and shifting, which can be especially helpful for children who need to fidget or bounce.
Chair bands can be used to provide tactile stimulation and proprioceptive input, which can help children calm down and regulate their emotions. By incorporating these flexible seating options into the classroom, teachers can create a more inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
