Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Flexible seating is an integral part of any classroom setup. Over these last few years, I have observed many students having challenges with sitting for prolonged periods of time. Our developing brains and bodies require movement, which can at times clash with some of the instructional strategies I use in the classroom. That is why I have included 4 stools in this project.
The 4 rotating stools in this project are for my "wiggly" students who need to move around while they learn and engage with their peers.
I have first hand seen these chairs work wonders for some of my previous students and I want to incorporate them into my permanent classroom collection.
Similarly, the shelving included in this project will support with keeping my classroom organized and always ready for all of my students needs.
