This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Please help me make my classroom a dynamic, comfortable place for learning! I am implementay Personalized learning this year and need some furniture for my small group area. Our school has a diverse population of students. We have 40% English language learners. My classroom is a place where all learners are welcome!

We are implementing Personalized Learning in our school as well a program to develop leadership and character skills called "The Leader in Me".

Both of these approaches have helped students and staff learn to set goals and achieve them! Our staff and principal are highly motivated to provide the best learning environment possible. Thank you for helping my students!

My Project

A small group area for learning in a safe, comfortable space! Lakeshore Learning has wonderful and colorful bag chairs and a comfy vinyl couch to help my students stay focused and motivated during small group. This will help my ESL and challenged learners work on strengthening skills. Over the past three years, I have worked hard to locate alternative seating and make my room colorful and appealing. I realize having an attractive small group area is what is missing!

My students struggle with transitioning, and coming to a comfortable, appealing small group area will be highly motivating.

I am excited to create this area for my students. Thank you for your help.
