My Students
My students are incredible! They are hard-working and doing the best they can this year. This has been a challenging year for all of us - adjusting back to being in school full time and handling the trauma of the last two years.

My Project
Because I teach special education, many of my students find it challenging to focus in class and need alternate seating arrangements to be successful. This has only been made more difficult with the last two years have caused.
Because COVID-19 has changed how we do schooling, my students need a change in environment to help them adapt.
By giving them options of how to sit or stand to do their work, my students can better focus on their computers and have an outlet for their restlessness that has accompanied their transition back to full-time school. Standing desks will be a valuable resource in my classroom for this very reason.
