My Project

The high school students that I teach are taking dual enrollment classes, where they can gain college credit by earning grades above C. The course pacing is twice as fast as regular high school courses, however, the current transition time is prolonged due to broken and unfit desks.

The flexible seating arrangement that the new furniture can provide will make it easier to concentrate on instruction and collaborative work.

The new tables can also provide adequate space for all learning materials within reach.

There are 9 to 18 students in each class period, and each table can seat up to 3 students. when combining two tables, a discussion circle can be formed within seconds. When transition time shortens, more time will be available for self-reflection by the end of class. Self-reflection will lead to better attainment of learning goals.
