My Project

Thank you for considering our project!

For one of our interactive writing lessons we came up with an anchor chart of what our Amazon list would look like for a DREAM classroom (we have a wide range of kids with different learning styles and learning needs)!

The theme was obvious; over and over the kids mentioned my 7 special seats (scoop chairs, one stool, and 2 very worn little chairs) as their favorite thing in our room and how they wished we had more! We talked about the kinds of seats they would like so I added 2 new bean bag chairs to replace the worn ones, a few more stools which is a student favorite and "Shhhhhhh"....I did not mention the amazing donut chairs I found as I would love to surprise them with those!

The kids also said wished they had colorful lights like some of the other teachers whose classrooms we walk by. I found a lamp that has multiple options and the hanging lights are a total ambiance mood changer that would replace the string LED's I have now that turn off after about a half hour of use daily. Two sets of these strings will go all the way around our classroom to mask the heavy fluorescent lights we have in our classrooms. They will absolutely love them!
