This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items in my cart are to help my 1st graders succeed by adding more flexible seating and space markers in my room. I am a big fan of flexible seating, and really want to utilize it more. I find that certain kids work better when having a different type of chair to sit in. I have some currently at my small group table and my independent table, but would love some more.

I also have items in my cart that will help create spatial awareness for my students.

I have students who struggle with staying in their designated spot. By having adhesives on the tables that mark where they can sit and where they line up will be a huge help for those students.
