Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are bright, creative, and full of energy! They thrive in learning environments that are dynamic and engaging. To help them succeed, I'm requesting flexible seating options, glue bottles for hands-on projects, and a microphone and speaker set to reward them with fun karaoke sessions.
Many of my students benefit from movement and choice in their learning space.
Flexible seating allows them to take charge of their learning, collaborate more easily with peers, and stay focused. Whether it’s a chair, cushion, or plain old floor, these options give kids the freedom to find what works best for them.
We also do a lot of creative, hands-on learning, and glue bottles are a simple but essential tool that keeps our classroom running smoothly. Whether we're building replicas of United States Monuments, assembling interactive notebooks, or completing art projects, having a steady supply of glue helps students bring their ideas to life.
Lastly, I want to create a fun and meaningful way to reward students for their hard work, responsibility, and kindness. A microphone and speaker set will let students enjoy karaoke time – a fun, confidence-building activity that celebrates their achievements and encourages self-expression, as well as community building and trust.
