My Project

This is my first year teaching and my goal is to add plenty of flexible seating into my classroom. My students would benefit greatly if they had flexible seating. Having this would allow for student movement. Studies show that movement boosts oxygen flow to the brain, which helps to keep students more alert and focused throughout lessons.

Adding sensory toys to my classroom would benefit the students greatly.

Not only are they great for calming students that may get overwhelmed, but also critical thinking and problem solving skills.

Another wonderful addition to our class would be some reading and math games! These games can be played in small groups or one on one to help students in need of extra practice.
