This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have been through so much in their educational journey the last couple years. I want to utilize flexible seating, alternative lighting, and more to reinforce the safe space for my scholars to learn and grow. Kids love to have a choice in how they learn and flexible seating and a variety of school supplies allow them to do just that! I want students to be excited to come to school and look forward to being apart of our classroom community. I want to provide a classroom that looks inviting, warm, calming and safe. When kids feel comfortable in their environment they will thrive!
