My students are energetic, kind and eager to learn. I teach two half-day Chinese immersion kindergarten classes. I have a total of 52 students.
My students are eager learners who love to come to school.
They love to sing Chinese songs and count 1 to 100 in Chinese. They love challenges. They are also fun and creative. Being exposed to two languages every day, they have a great desire to learn all they can. I feel very fortunate to teach such a wonderful group of students.
My Project
Wobble chairs effectively help two of the most common issues in Kindergarten classrooms: fidgety kids who have difficulty attending and staying in their seats and kids who struggle with postural stability due to weak core muscles. My students love them so much. However, I only have 3 and I would love to meet the needs of more of my students. Many of my students have the need of a safe, productive outlet to express their energy. My students are very generous and share the chairs with each other, but I would love to have more available so there could be enough for my class.
The Wobble Chair’s base is slightly rounded on the bottom, allowing for a gentle rocking movement, making it an awesome sensory strategy to promote engagement and attention in the classroom.
Students with attention difficulties will greatly benefit from this flexible seating as well.
